Airtel launches Lifetime prepaid at Rs. 495!
There is some extremely good news coming from apni Dilli New Delhi. Airtel, India’s leading mobile phone operator, with over 38 million mobile phone connections, has launched a lifetime prepaid scheme, priced at Rs. 495.
This is extremely good news, especially for India’s lower middle class, since quite a lot of us want low-cost, no-nonsense telephony that companies like Airtel, Idea and Hutch provide. We didn’t mention Tata and Reliance, as they do not quite clear the no-nonsense criteria.
Anyways, kudos to Airtel and company. They’re the ones that have enabled the country to increase our mobile connections to 160 million today, from 0.3 million in 1997.

But New super lifetime is gr8 as all local calls r allowed to be made at Re. 1/min. (unlike Rs. 2 and Rs. 3/min in earlier schemes). only constraint compared to earlier scheme is that now min usage of rs. 200/6 month is required instead of rs. 10/6 month. but overall good offer

If you decrease the call retes from airtel to airtel in addition to that it is much better than that.

now a days airtel service is so poor we cannot make a call or receive a call in one time we have to go for second time. once your server is not working properly, we have to suffer by paying our hard money.

Is there a scheme for a prepaid conncetion lower than 495/-. I have heard there is a scheme of 299/- but I am not sure of the details. Kindly confirm how much has to be refilled in a span of 6 months & its validity. Also confirm rate for outgoing calls per minute.

Already I have pre paid artel sim with 1 year validity. Next month this validity will complete. Now I would like to take a life time plan. Could you please giude me, which will be better. I have done some enquiry, but they said that, around 365 we need to pay and we will get life time validity, but 60 paisa per call.
Kindly reply back ASAP, coz May 3rd is my last date.
